Born in Cairns and rooted in grassroots burnout culture, Tropical Meltdown has earned its reputation over 12 years as the testing ground for the region’s toughest machines and most fearless drivers. Now, it’s taking centre stage at Springmount Raceway, enhancing the Northern Nats experience with an exhilarating dose of tyre-shredding action.
With Pro, Open & Development classes lighting up the track and huge prize money up for grabs, Tropical Meltdown brings the raw energy that truly defines the Northern Nats experience.
This year is extra spicy: Tropical Meltdown 2025 is a Summernats Pro Burnout Series Qualifier, meaning two direct Pro Burnout Series tickets and two Wildcard entries to the Grand Final at Summernats 38 are up for grabs.
